Jess Idlehart is a Los Angeles-based motion designer, compositor, and artist working across animation, advertising, broadcast, and live visuals.

His work spans production compositing and design-led motion, blending illustration, stylized 3D, and graphic systems into final-frame imagery. He has worked as Lead Compositor on episodic animation for Netflix and Nickelodeon, and created motion design for FX, MTV, VH1, and ATTN:, alongside freelance and personal projects.

Through Electronic Countermeasures, he designed and animated concert visuals for national tours and festival stages including Beck, JoJo Siwa, and MDLBEAST Soundstorm.

He studied Experimental Animation at CalArts.
