Jess Idlehart is a Los Angeles–based Lead Compositor and Motion Designer working across television animation, streaming, live visuals, and commercial motion design.

He has over a decade of experience contributing to animated series as a compositor, and to advertising and large-scale concert visuals as a motion designer. His work includes projects for Netflix, Nickelodeon, FX, MTV, Hulu, and live stage productions.

A graduate of CalArts’ Experimental Animation program, Jess also creates independent short films through Making After Midnight, a season-based project exploring cinematic mood, design, and visual systems outside of client-driven work.
